4 Peer Review
This journal employs adouble-anonymized review process. Initial assessments are conducted by the editors to determine whether a submission is appropriate for publication; if deemed suitable, the manuscript is typically sent to at least two independent reviewers for expert evaluation of its scientific quality. The final acceptance or rejection decision is made by the editors and is considered conclusive. Editors are not involved in decisions concerning papers they have written themselves, those authored by family members or colleagues, or any work related to products or services in which they hold an interest; such submissions are subject to the journal’s standard procedures, with peer review handled independently of the involved editor and their research group. All manuscripts undergo initial review by the editorial office, and those failing to meet the journal’s basic standards (due to reasons including being out of scope, ethical conflicts, high similarity to existing work, lack of originality, or flaws in research design or methodology) are rejected without external review (desk rejection). Selected papers are then reassigned to the Editor-in-Chief, who invites multiple reviewers or assigns an editorial board member to do so. Once at least two reviews have been received, the Editor-in-Chief (or the assigned editor) provides feedback to the authors, integrating both the reviewers’ comments and their own evaluation. Upon submission of the revised manuscript, the assigned editor and the Editor-in-Chief jointly render the final decision. For submissions authored by the Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editors, Guest Editor(s), other journal board members, or individuals with conflicts of interest involving these parties, confidentiality is ensured by assigning handling to a different team member. Regarding submissions to Special Issues, should any conflict of interest exist between Guest Editor(s) and authors, the manuscript will be managed by another editor from the Editorial Board, who oversees the peer review process and makes the final acceptance or rejection decision following peer review.

5.1 Proof correction
To facilitate a rapid publication process, authors are required to submit proof corrections within 3 days. The corresponding author will receive an email containing a link to the online proofing system, where proofs can be annotated and corrected directly. The interface, which is similar to Microsoft Word, allows for text editing, commenting on figures and tables, and responding to queries raised by the copy editor. This web-based proofing service ensures a faster process with a lower risk of errors. Alternatively, authors may choose to annotate and upload their edits on the PDF version of their article. Detailed proofing instructions and available alternative methods will be provided in the email. The purpose of proof correction is to verify the typesetting, editing, completeness, and accuracy of the article text, tables, and figures.
